Missy Penor is President and CEO of Misc. Publications, publisher of Downtowns The District and the Albuquerque Convention and Vistors Bureau Visitors Guide and Meeting Planners Directory, as well as the Santa Fe Visitors Guide.
Misc. Publications specializes in tourism and economic development publications, also publishing the Homebuyers Guide and tourism publications for Las Cruces, Gallup, Farmington and numerous publications for the four-corners area.
Misc. Publications is located in EDo (East Downtown), and Penor has been heavily involved in the growth of the community and investing in the growth of Downtown. Misc. Publications is a turnkey publishing company that is available to do numerous projects no matter how large or small.
Penor has been in Albuquerque and the publishing business for 10 years. She served as publisher for Starlight Publishing and opened her own company, Misc. Publications, in 2001.
Penor is a member of the Downtown Action Team Board of Directors, the EDo (East Downtown) Board of Directors and is a member of the Albuquerque Convention and Visitors Bureau. She also serves on the Fundraising for the Mudd Volleyball Tournament, which raises funds for the University of New Mexico Carrie Tingley ChildrenҒs Hospital.
Misc. Publications is a well-known local publishing firm and has won past Addys for the Albuquerque and Santa Fe Visitors Guides.
