Project Manager

Giorgio L. Giannini serves as Project Manager for the Downtown Action Team, a private, non-profit organization dedicated to the revitalization of Downtown Albuquerque as the best mid-sized Downtown in the USA. Giorgio joined the Downtown Action Team in July 2007.

Prior to joining the Downtown Action Team, Giorgio served as a Dental Technician/ Manager for Keystone Dental Laboratories in Albuquerque. He was involved in the production, development, and shipments of all products incoming and outgoing.

He has been involved in many audio compositions and productions for educational, informational, and private videos. He has also been credited for the scores in a long list of short films and both local and international albums.  His work with Governor Bill Richardsons office on the New Mexico Forest Fire Watershed Restoration video proved to be a successful tool in educating citizens about the extreme impact and importance of our hand in the revitalization process in New Mexico.  He also worked hand in hand with New Mexico Highlands University on the Gear Up Program developed to provide teachers with a better understanding of the procedures involved in the ғNo Student Left Behind policy. 

Giorgio is responsible for taking record of all incoming funds for the Downtown Action Team. He tracks incoming sponsorships and vendor fees for the Growers Market, Go! Arts Festival, LOOK Awards, DATԒs membership program and grant funds to ensure that all incoming funds are distributed accordingly to the proper accounts.

He will also be in charge of creating and updating a general calendar/schedule by tracking events for the Downtown area. This involves making certain that all vendors, merchants, and business owners are aware of and comply with any scheduled or proposed events which may be taking place.

Giorgio heads up many special projects for DAT, including web site production, working with the movie and film industry in Downtown and sitting on the Albuquerque Special Events Permitting Committee for events scheduled in the Downtown area.
