Mission Statement: To provide current and future generations with an understanding of the impact of transportation on New Mexico and the West through education, acquisition, preservation, restoration and exhibition.


Looking Ahead: The City of Albuquerque purchased, in November, the historic rail yards and back shops in downtown Albuquerque with the help of financial support from the WHEELS Museum. WHEELS is in process of moving onto the site.

FHAB Gallery has moved Downtown  with space in The Agency which is Albuquerque&#1426;s newest venue for fine art openings, musical performances, spoken word, independent film showings and new media installations. FHAB Fridays are every First Friday, featuring local artists and the art work of owner Nick Harmon. May 2nd is the opening of an exhibit for local abstract expressionist Carol Estes. There will be an auction of one of Carols pieces with proceeds to benefit Teen Challenge of New Mexico (http://www.teenchallengeofnewmexico.com).</description>
