Special events occur once a month:
| June 13 | Market Season Kickoff: Tea & Cupcake Party 8–11 AM featuring locally made fresh cupcakes from Gold Rush Cupcakes and tea brewed with love from the New Mexico Tea Company on Mountain Road. What better way to spend your Saturday? Special music by Three String Bale. |
| July 11 | The Salad Mixer 9–11 AM featuring five Celebrity Chefs from Downtown Restaurants including the Grove, Farina Pizzeria, Slate Street Café, Relish and Sunshine Café. Join us for seasonal salads in the park as we challenge these chefs to create a delicious salad using only Growers Market produce and one secret ingredient from their home kitchens. Featured music by Los Primos. |
| August 15 | Taste @ the Market 8–11 AM featuring Taste Catering company and the fantastic foods of Zinc, Seasons and Savoy. Come cheer for your favorite root vegetable or chef, and taste their fantastic creations direct from the farmers to you. Featured music by the Squash Blossom Boys. |
| September 19 | Market Harvest Festival 9 AM–12 PM Join us as we celebrate the bounty of the season at the Harvest Festival. The weather may be cooler, but the produce keeps growing! It is peak season, and available produce is scrumptious! Featuring music by Young Edward. |
| October 25 | The Great Pumkin Fiesta 9AM--12PM Halloween is just around the corner, and the Downtown Growers Market has the best pumpkins in town! Dress up the kids and come out for the costume contest, pumpkin carving competition and all the tasty treats available. You thought last month was fabulous – check out this event! Live music by Los Radiators. |
